Bonjour! Tel que promis voici quelques détails techniques pour mieux vous servir de ce blogue.
N'oubliez pas que lorsque vous cliquez sur la photo ou l'image de l'envoi, vous devriez voir celle-ci plus grande dans une nouvelle fenêtre.

Pour faire un commentaire, cliquez sur "X comments" en bas de l'envoi. En y mettant votre curseur, il devrait changer de couleur et paraître en souligné. (Ne cliquez pas sur la petite enveloppe.) Lorsque vous avez cliqué, une fenêtre devrait apparaître, dans le genre de celle que vous voyez dans l'image ci-dessus. Écrivez votre commentaire dans l'encadré. Par la suite, vous devez enregistrer votre commentaire.

Trois choix s'offrent à vous: "Blogger", "Autre" ou "Anonyme". Si vous êtes membre de Blogger, vous savez déjà quoi faire. La plupart d'entre vous aller choisir "Autre", ce qui vous permet d'identifier votre commentaire avec un nom de votre choix. Entrez votre nom (votre page web, c'est facultatif). Si vous choisissez "Anonyme", il vous est néanmoins possible de signer votre commentaire, si vous le préférez.

N'oubliez pas le vérificateur de mots! Vous devez inscrire les lettres telles qu'elles apparaissent au-dessus. C'est un peu tannant, mais nécessaire, sinon on peut se ramasser avec une quantité de publicité non désirable dans les commentaires.

Hello! As I promise you, here are some technicals skills to help you with this blog. Don't forget that if you clic on any image of the post, you should see it larger, in another window.

To make a comment, clic on "X comments" at the bottom of the post. With the cursor on it, "X comments" should change color and be lined too. (Don't clic on the little envelope.) After having clicked, a window should open, like the one you see on the picture above. Write your comment in the frame, then, you have to register your comment.

You'll have three choices. My computer is in french, so I'm not complitely sure of the words, but it should be the good one. You have: "Blogger", "Other" and "Anonymous". If you are already a member of Blogger, you know what to do. Most of you will choose "Other". Then enter the name you have choosen (Web page is not necessary). If you prefer to choose "Anonymous", it is then possible for you to sign your comment at the end.

And don't forget the "Word Verification". You should inscribe the letters as they appear above. It is not funny, but believe me, it is necessary, unless we are going to have many spam on our comments.

Un premier envoi sur ce nouveau blog, qui en sera un consacré à la carte postale. En filiation avec le Club des Cartophiles québécois, ce blog servira principalement aux membres et amis du Club et il sera pour eux un moyen d'entrer en contact avec les autres membres.

Un des principaux attraits de ce blog, sera de pouvoir publier sur internet des photos de cartes postales anciennes représentant des lieux non identifiés. Nous avons tous de ce genre de cartes, et de pouvoir les montrer à un large public nous permettra probablement de pouvoir identifier nombreuses de nos cartes.

Welcome to all!

This blog will be about old post cards, and is in association with the Club des cartophiles québécois. It is mostly for the members and the friends of the Club and will be for all of us a good way to have contact with the others.

One of the principal use of this blog will be to post on the internet pictures of old post cards that shows places without any kind of identification. We all have this kind of cards, and being able to show them to a larger public will give us the opportunity to identify a lot of them.



Ce soir, je n'ai sous la main que cette photo d'une carte postale dont je voulais envoyer la photo à quelqu'un de Bangor que je connais... La carte fut expédiée à Bangor, mais elle pourrait représenter un autre endroit. Je trouve aussi que le texte est bien étrange.

Tonight, I just have this one of a post card I thought I should send the picture to somebody I know who lives in Bangor... The card was sent to Bangor, but it could be from somewhere else. I also think that the text is strange.
